product

MC NYLON

It’s an industrial resin manufactured by anionic polymerization in the state of directly injecting caprolactam which is a monomer of NYLON-6. It is chemically the same as the conventional injection molding or extrusion molding of the general NYLON-6, but its molecular weight is much larger and the crystallinity is excellent. As it has excellent engineering properties, it is a new industrial material that has been developed as an alternative material for metal and wood and is currently used as an essential material in various fields.

Features

  • Excellent resistance to water, corrosion, and organic solvent
  • Good insulation and electrical properties
  • Excellent economic feasibility for ultra-large and small-scale production
  • Excellent light weight (1/7 times that of metal)
  • Excellent shock absorption and noise prevention
  • Ease of Machining
  • Excellent abrasion resistance and durability
product

PEEK

PEEK (Poly Ether Ether Ketron) is a thermoplastic high-performance plastic extruded from a resin. It has similar chemical and moisture resistance to PPS (Poly Phenylen Sulfide), but has a higher continuous operating temperature (250°C/480°F) than PPS (220°C/426°F). It does not lose its physical properties even in highly intense poor working environments such as flame retardant grade and hot water vapor, so it is widely used in high-performance fields such as electricity, electronics, and aviation.

Features

  • Very low moisture absorption
  • Maintains constant properties even under hot water and vapor
  • Good radioactive stability (no change in properties even when the cumulative absorption of gamma rays exceeds 1.000 Mrad)
  • Flame retardant and only a small amount of smoke and toxic gases are generated during combustion
  • Electric insulation
  • FDA approved (Unfilled PEEK)

POM (Polyacetal, Acetal)

As a resin commonly called acetal, there are homopolymers and copolymers. Both materials are crystalline and are rigid materials with good fatigue durability, creep resistance, low coefficient of friction and attractive appearance. Homopolymer has high saddle strength, flexural strength, fatigue resistance and hardness, and the copolymer is thermally stable, making it easy to process and has good resistance to hot water and deterioration. Plus, it has excellent alkalinity and higher extensibility.

Features

  • Excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties
  • Low friction, abrasion resistance, good self-lubrication
  • Ease of machining, dimension stability
  • Good fatigue resistance and creep resistance
  • Excellent chemical resistance (alkali resistance), heat resistance, and non-absorption
  • Excellent food hygiene
product

HDPE/UHMW-PE

PE (Polyethylense) is a polymer with excellent chemical resistance and good abrasion resistance, and there are LDPE (Low Density), HDPE (High Density), and UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight) depending on the molecular weight. Among them, HDPE accounts for the largest amount. UHMW-PE is an ultra-high density polyethylene with an average molecular weight of 3 million or more, and is an FDA approved product whose overall properties are superior to HDPE, but is expensive.

Features

  • Low temperature durability (no change in properties at -50°C)
  • Abrasion resistance, chemical resistance (strong to acids and alkalis)
  • Welding function
  • Low coefficient of friction (excellent slippage), non-absorbency
  • Impact resistance
  • Lightweight
  • Food hygiene, non-toxic
  • Affordable price
product

PP (Polypropylene)

HIt has similar characteristics not easy to distinguish from HDPE, and it is divided into Homo PP and Co PP. Its density is very small as 0.9~0.94, but the mechanical strength and hardness are better than HDPE, so it has excellent electric insulation and chemical resistance.

Features

  • It has impact resistance at room temperature, but it is weak at low temperatures below -5℃, so a higher impact resistance grade is required.
  • The specific gravity is as low as 0.9 or less, and it is transparent and has 95% crystallinity.
  • It is used as a molding material with strong property.
  • It has heat resistance and excellent abrasion resistance.
  • It has excellent electrical property with water resistance and chemical resistance.
  • During combustion, it has petroleum smells with poor adhesiveness and printability.
  • It gradually ages in sunlight and heat.
  • The price is low and the hardness is superior to HDPE.
  • Lightweight, electric insulation, excellent machinability
  • Welding is possible
product

Polycarbonate

PC (Polycarbonate) is a thermoplastic resin made by synthesizing Bisphenol A and Phosgene, and is produced by extrusion. It has high impact resistance, durability, and self-extinguishing properties, so it is widely used in products such as home appliances, life, architecture, and general industries. Depending on the purpose of the product, it is largely classified into transparent, color, light diffusion, and roll products, and can be used for various purposes.

Features

  • Excellent impact resistance and weatherproof
  • Excellent flame retardant and heat resistance
  • Excellent transparency and light weight
  • Excellent processability and formability
  • Various colors and specifications
product

PU, PUR; Polyurethane

It is a urethane-combined polymer made by the reaction of polyisocyanate and polyalcol. Polyurethane has excellent elasticity, abrasion resistance, and workability, so it is widely used in industrial and consumer goods and parts. Polyurethane is available in thermoplastic (melt and molded by heat) and thermosetting (liquid is hardened by heat).

Features

  • Excellent impact, friction, cutting and barking resistance
  • Higher friction and wear resistance than steel (up to 10 times)
  • Higher friction and wear resistance than rubber (2-5 times)
  • Excellent tensile and tear strength
  • Excellent sound and vibration absorption
  • Excellent elasticity (650%), rubbery elastic polymer
  • Excellent adhesion to metal
product

Bakelite

Although its specific gravity is smaller than that of metal, it can be applied to industrial structures with its excellent mechanical strength, and it has good electrical properties and workability, so it can be applied in wide range. As it has low water absorption and high surface resistance, it is good as an insulating reinforcing material, and because it is resistant to heat, its form preservation is good.

It is not hardened if heated without adding a curing agent or catalyst, and this is different from other thermosetting resins. In molded products, the strength is high, dimensional stability is excellent, and the water absorption is low with good water resistance. It has excellent electric insulation, chemical resistance, heat resistance and mechanical strength. Usually it is not invaded by solvents.
